Got hit...Saw it coming
Wal-Mart Super Centers can be to big. Sometimes you just want to run in, get a few things and run out. That's all I wanted when I went to the Dollar General store. A few cleaning items, maybe a coke or gummy worms, you know, the worthless crap you get at a variety store.
Pulled into the parking lot, and parked. Got out and noticed I wasn't up all the way into the park. For a moment, I considered getting back in and pulling up all the way, but I though no need and went into the store.
After taking much to long, I purchased my items and left. As soon as I walked out the door, I knew I'd been hit (the bumper is white, and I could see a black streak across it) I bargained with myself as I walked. Maybe its dirt I said, or maybe just a black streak I can wipe off with my hand. But no, it was damage. All bumpers any more are plastic and the impact of the car had split the plastic.
The person who hit me hit and ran. No attempt to find me no note on the windshield. I have cursed them and all their seed for eternity but what I want to know is, did I have a premonition. Is there such a thing. When I got out, I had the urge to move the vehicle but didn't and it may be since I wasn't pulled all they way up, it was my own fault for getting hit.
Do you believe in premonition? Have you had one. Maybe I did or maybe my minds experiences were trying to warn me of a potential hazard. I don't know, but my deductible is $500. Mighty expensive for a trip to the DOLLAR General.

500 bucks is pretty good for a repair job even as simple as that - though its an expensive brick in the wall.
Premonition is a funny thing. Of all the premonitions that we may get - the only ones we count will be the ones we shoulda listened to.
I've had your problem. This is why I believe in owning ugly beaters. Yes, I've had premonitions. Generally, they come true.
What's worse is the entire bill is only $661 so with my deductable at $500 there is no point in turning it in to insurance and having my rates go up.
EOTR-this is the "good" car. My personal car is a green pontiac with 185,000 miles. Lately, for some reason, the drivers side window won't go down.
/bark bark bark
i had a dream over and over about being killed by a falling tree. then one day i was up at a friends mountain house and kept trying to leave but theyd say dont go, dont go.....sure enough a microburst came through, a tree fell and smashed my car. i knew i should have left but NO i didnt listen to my intuition.
irritating isnt it. oh and the dreams stopped after that. i never made a claim either. pointless.
/grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I do believe in intuition...it's a freaky thing.
