A little time off

Went to the Smokey Mountains for a couple of days. Didn't get that many pics but here is one of Laurel Falls. Not a bad hike maybe two miles. A storm was rolling in as I climbed so I din't get a lot of time at the falls but enjoyed it anyway.

More of the falls.
Did a little rock
scrambling along the canyon river. I really enjoy falls and streams etc. Flowing water looks the same but is always changing. I should probably make some comparison between life and water, but maybe I just like water.I find great peace and solace in the mountain. Nature has a way of recharging your batteries. Work tomorrow. Ye and haw.

I like the look of nature, but I prefer the amenities of big city living - a/c and Japanese food, no need to deal with heat and humidity and spiders and the stench of pine.
har har grant this is why we'd never work.
dwo - water does have an amazing effect on everyone [cept grant] i think.
Well, Grant I did return after a strenous day of hiking to the hotel with a pool with water slide. BTW there is a lot of hardwood in the smokeys so the pine is more background flavor than overwhelming.
Fatty-only brilliant and sophisticated people can appreciate the many nuances of water.
